great stay but minor room issues

The staff's attention to detail made my parents' stay memorable. The complimentary fruit and drinks added a personal touch that we appreciated.

The room lacked some minor amenities that would have enhanced our comfort.

    local produce
    cozy bar
    fantastic staff
    bathroom touch-ups
    unexpected parking fee

Breakfast at The Bird was an absolute treat with local produce shining through every dish. Loved the cozy bar area for a nightcap, with drinks mixed by Carla that had me buzzing! The staff went above and beyond, just like Amy who snagged us a dinner reservation.

The bathroom could use a bit of TLC, with some paint touch-ups needed and a shower that isn't super ideal for the older crowd. a heads-up about the parking fee would be nice, especially since there are plenty of other eateries nearby to check out instead.

    A cozy spot with charm

We stayed here for 2 nights, and the staff were super friendly, helping us with our bags up all those stairs! Our room was spacious and had a nice bathroom, which was a plus. the bed wasn’t comfy at all, felt kinda stiff. Breakfast had great options, though, and loved the nice bar area too.

Charming Boutique Experience with Great Breakfast

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this charming establishment, where the room was beautifully decorated with unique bird-themed decor, making it feel cozy and inviting. The breakfast was exceptional, featuring both locally sourced ingredients and freshly made pastries, which made for a delightful start to each day. I felt that the shower could use a little more attention for upkeep.

    cozy communal
    playful decor
    limited privacy

The cozy king room had a unique layout that incorporated playful decor, making the environment feel vibrant. I appreciated the inviting communal areas that provided a nice spot to unwind after a long day exploring the city.

Navigating the hotel without an elevator posed a challenge, especially on the higher floors, and the thin walls meant I could hear the somewhat less dignified bathroom routines of neighbors. It might be a tight squeeze for couples trying to dodge each other in the small bathroom setup, given the limited privacy with the glass separation near the bed.
